摘要

A selective and efficient method has been developed for the determination of uranium and its associated pathfinder elements (Cu, Ni, Zn, Co, and Pb) in hydro-geochemical samples to support uranium exploration. The method is based on the adsorption capabilities of activated charcoal impregnated with 1-amino-2-naphthol-4-sulphonic acid. Key parameters such as pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time and desorption conditions were optimized to ensure quantitative recovery of the target analytes. Optimal adsorption was achieved at pH 7 with 1 h contact time. The method demonstrated quantitative recovery and was validated using standard addition technique, confirming its suitability for routine analysis.
