<p>A novel combined ion exchange procedure has been developed as a pretreatment method for accurately measuring Sr-90 in cement solidified body leachates. The experimental results indicated the process had good selective separation effect. In the anion exchange resin separation stage, over 99% of Fe(III) and Co(II) could be removed from the resin column. In P204 extraction resin separation process, the separation coefficient β<sub>(Y/Mn),</sub> β<sub>(Y/Ni),</sub> β<sub>(Y/Sr)</sub>, and β<sub>(Y/Cs)</sub> could reach 624.1, 521.8, 631.2, and 604.1, respectively. It was proved that this process could be used as a pretreatment method for the measurement of Sr-90 in the leaching solution of cement solidification.</p>
