<p>This retrospective study explored the use of different cut-off values for serum thyroglobulin antibody (TgAb) to judge the outcomes of <sup>131</sup>I for papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC). After <sup>131</sup>I therapy and TSH suppression, excellent response rates (ERRs) increased over time by both TgAb standards (TgAb &lt; 10.0 KIU/L and TgAb &lt; 115.0 KIU/L) but were significantly higher using the manufacturer cut-off (6.7 versus 22.2%, at 1&#xa0;month; 8.9 versus 42.2%, at 4&#xa0;months; 13.3 versus 48.9%, at 10&#xa0;months; <i>p</i> &lt; 0.01). Hence, the positive rate and ERR of TgAb in PTMC patients were significantly effectuated by the adopted cut-off value.</p>
