摘要

Given its significance in various fields, the precise measurement of the radionuclide 131I is of critical importance. In this study, three activity standardization techniques—namely, the 4πβ(LS)-γ coincidence, TDCR and CIEMAT/NIST efficiency tracing method—were employed to determine the activity of 131I solution. The results obtained from these different methods were in good agreement. Furthermore, for the latter two methods, different consideration of nuclear data were employed in the efficiency calculations to thoroughly investigate the influence of γ transition and β emission spectra. The results indicate that, regardless of the consideration of γ transitions or the use of different type of β emission spectra, the results remain consistent under different conditions.
