<p>This study explores the fabrication and optimization of cresol red-epoxy resin films for radiation dosimetry. The films, prepared using cresol red, epoxy resin, and a hardener, achieved a consistent thickness of 0.996&#xa0;±&#xa0;0.060&#xa0;mm, with 0.20&#xa0;w/v% cresol red as the optimal concentration for dose measurements (0.5–17&#xa0;kGy). These films exhibited excellent pre-irradiation stability (90&#xa0;days) and stabilized post-irradiation within three days. Annealing at 65&#xa0;°C accelerated stabilization. The films demonstrated ±&#xa0;6.7% reproducibility but were sensitive to high temperatures. Dose fractionation had no effect, confirming their reliability for radiation therapy dosimetry under controlled conditions.</p>
