摘要

There is growing concern about the poisoning of groundwater with uranium (U) and other heavy metals. The efficacy of identifying a suitable adsorbent material for the elimination of heavy metals has been exemplified, including the utilization different plants as adsorbents. The experimental findings were examined by utilizing equilibrium isotherms, enabling the examination of the adsorption behavior of uranium on Rumex Acetosella. Based on the equilibrium data analysis such as the Langmuir, Freundlich and Sips, etc. isotherms demonstrate a strong correlation with the experimental data (R2 > 0.90) which means high efficiency in isotherm behavior of the adsorbent.
