摘要

This study investigated the degradation of penicillin G in aqueous solution following electron beam irradiation. By adjusting the energy and absorbed dose of the electron beam, penicillin G was completely degraded in aqueous solution, with a chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency exceeding 92%. The products, processes, and potential pathways associated with the degradation of penicillin G in irradiated aqueous solutions were experimentally analysed by integrating liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry and density functional theory.
