Diagnostic value of ACE2 PET in chronic heart failure mice models and the establishment of an imaging protocol on beagle dog
摘要
An early increase of ACE2 expression served as an antagonism signal of heart failure (HF) progression. We aimed to evaluate the feasibility of 68Ga-cyc-DX600 PET in recording the dynamic ACE2 dysfunction. ACE2 PET revealed the acute and lasting increase of ACE2 expression in the myocardium of chronic HF mice models during the formation of myocardial fibrosis. Compared to echocardiography, the earlier abnormality in ACE2 PET was meaningful in evaluating cardiac injury and early intervention. Additionally, the multiple time-point ACE2 PET scanning on beagle dog determined 50 min post-injection or later as the protocol with optimal myocardium to cardiac chamber ratio.
