Nitrogen-13, oxygen-15 and carbon-11 in positron emission tomography: an overview
摘要
This review article discusses the most significant aspects related to the conventional positron emitting radionuclides such as nitrogen-13, oxygen-15, and carbon-11. It is based on a comprehensive forty-year literature review and provides a through overview of the various production methods of these radionuclides, their use in the synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals, and their applications in nuclear imaging.
