摘要

The tritium content in the surface water of the Suifen River in China was measured using an ultra low-level liquid scintillation spectrometer. In August and October, a total of 30 samples were collected (15 per month) The measured 3H activity concentration ranged from 5.08 to 9.75 Bq L−1, and the annual effective dose ranged from 0.07 to 0.13 μSv. These values are below WHO’s recommendations, indicating no risk to human health. Although the 3H activity concentration was higher in October than in August, statistical analysis did not show a significant difference between the two months.
