Solvent extraction of astatine by DIPE and attempt to identify the extracted species by thin layer chromatography
摘要
Present study explores the extraction mechanism of 211At of 7.21 h half-life used in targeted alpha-ray therapy. We produced 211At and 210At nuclides to investigate the extraction mechanism with diisopropyl ether (DIPE) and At species in the solvent. Thin-layer chromatography results showed that At cation species increased with increasing HCl concentration and the rate of At extraction into DIPE.
