Exploring the influence of entrance channel on neutron multiplicity for 212Rn∗
摘要
The effect of the entrance channel and neutron shell closure (N = 126) on the pre-scission neutron emission of 212Rn is investigated using available experimental data from EXFOR and theoretical calculations. It is found that the entrance channel plays a vital role in nuclear dissipation. Further, shell closure effects on neutron emission are also investigated as a function of excitation energy and its dependence on the entrance channel. Our study on the effects of entrance channel mass asymmetry (
