摘要

R2+ (R = Ca, Ba) and B2O3-modified waste soda-lime glass’s immobilization of Cs is investigated using product consistency tests. The introduction of Ca2+ and Ba2+ to waste glass can inhibit the diffusion motion of Cs+ in glass network, and thus reducing the leaching concentration of Cs+. The excessive addition of Ca2+ to waste glass produced the crystallization of CaSiO3 and Ca(Si2O7)B2O phases and worsened the ability to immobilize Cs. When B2O3 exists as [BO4] units in glass, the normalized leaching concentration of Cs+ is decreased, the existence of [BO3] units in glass can diminish its ability to immobilize Cs.
