摘要

Bone tissue engineering requires biomaterial that enhances quick bone regeneration. Although β-Tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) has demonstrated potential, its effectiveness can be upgraded. The current study synthesized β-TCP (bioactive ceramic) and assessed its effectiveness for quick bone tissue regeneration. The nanoparticles of β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate) were prepared via continuous plastic flow synthesis (CPFS) and co-precipitation method while the nanocomposite of β-TCP(β-tricalcium phosphate) with hyaluronic acid (HA) and polycaprolactone(PCL) was prepared via autoclave. The synthesized β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate) nanocomposite was characterized by particle size, zeta potential, X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). In vivo assessment was evaluated using a rabbit tibia defect model. The synthesized bioactive β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate) nanocomposite enhanced biocompatibility and mechanical properties. β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate) scaffolds with improved osteogenic capacity and quick bone regeneration are used for bone-tissue engineering. Furthermore, the nanocomposite of β-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate) achieves an impressive decomposition efficiency of up to 82% in the photo-oxidation of methylene blue as compared to HA(Hyaluronic acid) and pure ß-TCP (β-tricalcium phosphate).
