Stimuli-sensitive superswellable alginate/ poly (N, N-diethylacrylamide co acrylic acid) hydrogels
摘要
Highly swelling, elastic and strong hydrogels based on poly (N, N-diethylacrylamide co acrylic acid) and sodium alginate was obtained. The hydrogel composition and structure were investigated by FTIR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and SEM. Rheological and mechanical properties of hydrogels have been studied. It has been shown that changing the system composition effectively regulates its network structure, pore size, swelling degree, thermosensitivity, and mechanical properties. The potential of the obtained hybrid hydrogels as drug carriers was studied using a model drug. Thermal- and pH-sensitivity, high swelling degrees and good mechanical properties allow considering the hybrid gels obtained as promising materials for regenerative medicine and drug delivery.
