<p>Two new mathematical models for Timoshenko plates with thin rigid inclusions are proposed, featuring pointwise nonpenetration conditions for inclusion points. The fictitious domain method is applied. A family of auxiliary crack problems in an enlarged domain is constructed, and convergence to the solution of the contact problem is proved.
