<p>In this paper, we analyze the dynamics of a gyrostabilized platform, i.e., a platform maintained in specified spatial coordinates by a system of gyroscopes and isolated from vibrations of the aircraft. Its main purpose is determining the angular orientation of an aircraft. We provide a refined analysis of the model and present a concise overview of fundamental results on this topic.</p>
