Infinite matrix algebras of block-diagonal form over different fields with full matrix algebras on the diagonal and their matrix subrings over  \(\mathbb {Q}\) Q are considered. Various existing representations as finite direct sums and chains are described, and numerical characteristics and special construction features of these structures are analyzed.
