A Heat-Conduction Problem for a Composite Body with Elements of Different Dimensions
摘要
We study the problem of thermal interaction of bodies with thin elements characterized by different thermal properties. A heat-conduction problem is formulated for a half-strip with thin surface coating with the use of generalized boundary conditions, which approximately take into account the process of heat exchange with the ambient medium through the coating. By using the Laplace integral transform, we obtain the solution of this problem in the closed form and perform the transition to the dimensionless form and to the stationary case. We perform numerical calculations and the analysis of temperature in a region of the body and on its surface for some relations between the characteristics of the body and the coating.
