<p>This article studies a viscoelastic plate equation that has a nonlinear frictional damping term and logarithmic nonlinearity. We use the fixed point theorem to demonstrate the existence of the local solution and also discuss the global existence result. We further demonstrate the solution’s blow-up using additional assumptions on the kernel <i>b</i>.</p>
