Comments on “Conductometric Study on Potassium Chloride in Aqueous Solutions of Sucrose at Different Temperatures”
摘要
Several errors were found in the published paper by Ghasemi Ilkhechi and Salamat-Ahangari, published in the Journal of Solution Chemistry (2025) 54:933–950. The main errors concern the published association constants for a 1:1 electrolyte (KCl) in water, which are implausibly high, and the values for the limiting molar conductivity of KCl in water, which do not agree with the previously reported values. Consequently, it can be assumed that the reported data are not reliable. For these reasons, the integrity of the conclusions of the study is fundamentally questioned and the work must be retracted.
