A Comprehensive Analysis of Topological Features in Electronic Structure of GdAgMg

摘要

The present work reports the study of electronic properties of the ternary equiatomic compound GdAgMg using first-principles calculations. The electronic structure properties claim this compound to be metallic in nature possessing interesting crossing points. The topological nature has been observed by the \(d-d\) d - d band-inversion. The iso-energy crossing points present in GdAgMg tend to have nodal-line features. In addition, this magnetic nodal-line material which lacks time-reversal symmetry exhibits robust intrinsic anomalous Hall effect, due to its significant Berry curvature. Ferromagnetic topological nodal line metals are a type of material that have attracted significant attention due to their potential applications in spintronics, magnetic memory devices, and quantum computing.
