A dual-wavelength self-Q-switched Tm : YLF laser with Fabry–Perot etalon

We demonstrate a dual-wavelength and self-Q-switched (SQS) Tm : YLF laser with Fabry-Perot (F-P) etalon. At a pump power of 14.8 W, we achieve the maximum average output power equal to 2.03 W with a pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 25.1 kHz and a pulse width of 1.64 µs at 1906.3 and 1915.1 nm, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 21.2% and an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 13.7%, respectively.
