Validation of the Religious Orientation Scale—Revised (ROS-R) for the Portuguese Population
摘要
The aim of this study was to validate and adapt the Religious Orientation Scale: Revised (ROS-R) for the Portuguese population. A total of 1027 participants took part in this study. Exploratory factor analysis showed that this instrument consists of three dimensions, as confirmed by the confirmatory factor analysis. The dimensions of this instrument have adequate values for internal consistency, construct reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. These results allow us to conclude that this instrument can be adapted to the Portuguese population and studies related to the psychology of religion and spirituality.
