摘要

This paper reports the solventless synthesis and ceramic conversation of phenyl-vinyl borosiloxane oligomers focusing on the effect of elemental composition on the oligomer properties and on the SiBOC ceramics. Borosiloxane oligomers were synthesized from boric acid and a mixture of vinyltriethoxysilane and phenyltriethoxysilane, using different monomer feed ratios. The oligomers were characterized and the effect of alkoxysilane monomers on the polymer properties is discussed. The oligomers were converted to SiBOC ceramics at three different temperatures and characterized. The effect of elemental composition of the precursor on the SiBOC ceramic phase composition and SiC crystallization is studied.
