Nano Architectonics and Photo/Electrical Properties of PANI/TMAI Reinforced PVC/ZnCo2O4/CdS Composite Polymer for Futuristic Optoelectronic and Energy Storage Devices
摘要
The current work aims to enhance the structure, dielectric and optical features of futuristic polyvinyl chloride (PVC)/ZnCo2O4/CdS/polyaniline (PANI)/x wt% tetramethylammonium iodide (TMAI) polymers to be functional in a diversity of promising optical and capacitance storage uses. The X-ray diffraction device was utilized to investigate the structure of ZnCo2O4/CdS (ZCO/CdS) filler and PVC/ZCO/CdS/PANI/x wt% TMAI polymers. The optical characteristics of all polymer have been investigated through UV diffused reflectance device. Doped samples would be able to effectively block UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. They are also a good material for solar cell applications. The minimum optical band gap energy values of 4.94 and 3.96 eV for the direct optical band gap and 4.35, and 3.29 eV for the indirect optical band gap are achieved in the ZCO/CdS/PANI/10 wt% TMAI polymer. The polymers containing ZCO/CdS/PANI/4 wt% TMAI has an elevated optical dielectric value in the visible zone. The reduced fluorescence’s intensity suggested that the doped system can be appropriate for photocatalytic applications. The CIE chromaticity diagram revealed that the filled polymers have blue-red colors. The rise in dielectric constant identified doped polymer with ZCO/CdS/PANI as attractive applicants for energy storage uses, remarkably in dielectric capacitors. The loaded polymer containing ZCO/CdS/PANI with 2 wt% TMAI exhibited the highest energy density values. Argand plot revealed that the PVC/ZCO/CdS/PANI polymer has a good capacitance.
