Jacaranda Flowers Derived Interconnected 3D Porous Carbon for High-Performance Green Supercapacitor
摘要
We have explored an environmentally friendly strategy to fabricate porous carbons (JFACs) by means of KOH pre-treatment and direct pyrolysis from jacaranda flowers. The JFACs exhibit a high specific capacitance of ~ 965 F g− 1 at 1 A g− 1, outstanding capacitance retention of 98% after 10,000 cycles. The JFACs-based supercapacitor displays a high energy density of 75.28 W h kg− 1 at a power density of 1200 W kg− 1 and retains excellent cycling stability with 3.5% loss of capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles at 10 A g− 1. The facile, efficient and template-free synthesis strategy for novel JFACs from biomass sources may promote commercial application of JFACs in the fields of supercapacitors.
