<p>Migrant women are vulnerable to violence and face specific challenges in terms of sexual and reproductive health and rights. In the Americas, the number of vulnerable migrants has risen considerably. This review aims to present a synthesis of research published between 2014 and 2024 on the sexual reproductive health and rights of migrant women in the Americas, focusing on gender-based violence. This scoping review is based on scientific articles in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, published between 2014 and 2024, sourced from PubMed, Scopus, LILACS, and SciELO, and addressing components of sexual and reproductive health and rights of migrant women in the Americas. The databases returned 696 results, of which 67 were retained after applying exclusion criteria; 25 focused on gender-based violence. Among them, 14 studies were conducted in North America, 8 in South America, 5 in Central America and 4 in the Caribbean (non-exclusive). Qualitative methodologies predominated (17 studies), followed by mixed-methods (4 studies) and quantitative designs (4 studies). The findings show that gender-based violence is pervasive throughout the migratory trajectory. Reported forms include physical, sexual, intimate partner, psychological and medical violence. The impacts on women’s physical and mental health are profound and deleterious. This review highlights gaps in knowledge production, particularly in South America and in the field of quantitative research. It underscores the importance of preventing and combating gender-based violence in order to improve the health and the sexual and reproductive rights of migrant women across the American continent.</p>
