Purpose <p>While intimate partner violence (IPV) is prevalent among students of Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) and many IPV-centered interventions take place on IHE campuses, few studies concerning IPV focus on community college students. This scoping review locates and synthesizes information from empirical literature about community college students’ experiences with and community college interventions for IPV.</p> Methods <p>Databases and reference lists were systematically searched for empirical articles and gray literature concerning IPV and community colleges. The search yielded 1,690 reports; 22 met our inclusion criteria (written in English, focused on IPV and community college students, in the United States, was empirical research, included community college students or employees in the sample, and published between 2013 and 2023.)</p> Results <p>Report findings are synthesized and organized by four areas: (1) IPV measurement, (2) factors associated with IPV victimization, (3) comparisons between community college students and other groups, and (4) IPV interventions. Risk and protective factors for IPV victimization are analyzed. Only two reports evaluated IPV interventions for community college students.</p> Conclusions <p>Findings demonstrate that although very limited, existing research on IPV among community college students provides data that can be used to inform practice. However, this literature is limited by measurement issues, mixed results, and the scarcity of researchers in this area. Recommendations for future research are provided to address these limitations.</p>
