摘要

The results of experimental studies of the propagation of low-amplitude shock waves in bulk porous media with a liquid volume content from 0 to 80% are presented. The influence of the presence of liquid in the pores on the shape and velocity of the main and probing pulses is illustrated. It is found that with an increase in water saturation the velocity of the main pulse of the shock wave smoothly increases in the range of 0–20%, remains virtually unchanged in the range of 40–60%, and decreases almost 2 times with an increase to 80%. When a bulk medium is passed, an increase in the amplitude of the reflected waves and the formation of peaks are observed.
