Laser and Electron Beam Additive Technologies
摘要
This paper presents the achievements of the S. A. Khristianovich Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and the Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in direct laser deposition technology enabling one to effectively process metal–ceramic materials and create complex structures from these materials, as well as in electron beam additive technology. New methods of increasing strength and durability of composite materials are described. It is pointed out that the efforts of the said Institutes in searching for innovative materials solutions enable one to achieve considerable improvements in quality management and performance of the manufactured products, and that both Institutes play an important role in the development of additive technologies in Russia and demonstrate high level of scientific and applied research.
