Determination of the Catalytic Activity of the MXene in the Combustion of Amonium Perchlotrate

摘要

The catalytic decomposition of a Ti₃C₂–ammonium perchlorate composite was investigated. The elemental and structural properties of the MXene were determined using the scanning electron microscopy, and its catalytic activity in the combustion of the ammonium perchlorate was estimated on the basis of the DTA and TGA data. It was established that the MXene exhibits an excellent reactivity and substantially influences the temperature of the ammonium perchlorate in the first and second exothermic periods of its decomposition and, consequently, the kinetic parameters of this decomposition.
