Toward Quantitative Interpretation of Thermograms Over the Wellbore on Oil Degassing with Regard to Thermohydrodynamic Heat Sources

Based on numerical modeling of thermohydrodynamic processes in the wellbore under conditions of oil degassing, the possibility of estimating the coefficient of gas solubility in oil and the well flow rate is investigated based on an analysis of temperature distribution along the wellbore. It is shown that degassing of oil in the wellbore or in a bed leads to the formation of temperature cooling anomalies, which can be used to solve certain oilfield problems. The results obtained can be used in planning field-geophysical studies and interpreting the results of temperature studies of wells during the production of live crude.
