Stability Criterion of a Rotating Fluid Film in the Post-Dryout Region of Swirling Flow Boiling

The paper considers the fragmentation of fluid films and, in particular, the used similarity numbers that characterize the process of fragmentation. Based on the analysis of a previously proposed mathematical model for a rotating fluid film evaporating in the Leidenfrost regime, the Sf criterion is proposed. It represents the relationship between the pressing inertial mass force acting on the fluid film and the dynamic effect of vapor from the heating wall.
