摘要

The current study explored the topological properties of brain network using graph theory-based whole-brain network analysis during cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. EEG data of twenty-seven participants during emotion regulation task were collected, which were projected into the source space. Topological properties were calculated by graph theory analysis. Although the significant differences between emotion regulation strategies in global level were not found, the significant differences in nodal betweenness centrality (BC) were observed. The inferior parietal lobule (IPL), superior temporal gyrus (STG) and orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) / medial frontal gyrus (MeFG) were involved during the cognitive reappraisal. The anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), STG and posterior cingulate cortex (PCC) were involved during the expressive suppression. The differences between the two strategies were observed in the IPL, fusiform gyrus (FG) / inferior temporal gyrus (ITG) and parahippocampal gyrus (PHG). We conclude that the activities of temporal cortex, parietal cortex, and PHG might provide evidence for the differences between these two strategies.
