The engineering of superparamagnetic ZnFe2O4/rGO nanocomposites: unlocking their untapped potential for optoelectronic applications
摘要
The ZnFe2O4/rGO (ZF-rG) nanocomposite was synthesised in this work using a one-pot solvothermal technique to develop a material for optoelectronics application. A cubic zinc ferrite (ZF) phase functionalised on rGO nanosheets was shown by structural and morphological analysis. At room temperature, VSM analysis revealed that the material exhibits superparamagnetic behaviour. An optical bandgap of 1.96 eV was estimated by UV-DRS, and photoluminescence spectra showed a wide range of emission in the visible region. The electrical properties dependent on temperature and frequency were analysed using dielectric studies, suggesting the prepared material could be used to store energy. The CIE chromaticity diagram assisted us in understanding ZF-rG’s suitability for white LED applications. The obtained results suggest that the ZF-rG can be a promising material for photonic and optoelectronic technologies.
