摘要

Second- and third harmonic generation have been measured in thin films based on materials for organic solar cells. Binary thin films were prepared using poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) and (6,6)-phenyl C71 butyric acid methyl ester PC71BM. The selected dyes were admixed into the matrix to obtain ternary layers. The harmonics generation technique was used to analyze and evaluate the susceptibility. An investigation was carried out to analyze the s and p polarizations of an incident beam through the Maker fringe technique. The Kubodera and Kobayashi model was employed to estimate the third-order nonlinear susceptibility χ(3). The second-order nonlinear susceptibility χ(2) was also obtained by adjusting the Lee model.
