Cyan gallate phosphor luminescence enhanced and the full-spectrum WLED applications
摘要
Full-spectrum emission light has become a hot topic in the current research due to its role in human-centric lighting and addressing the hazards of blue light. Cyan phosphors excitable by near-ultraviolet light have garnered significant attention for their ability to complement the cyan deficiencies in illumination spectra. In this study, we synthesized an enhanced cyan phosphor Ca3Zr2SiGa2+yO12: 0.04Ce3+ (CZSG) through a high-temperature solid-state method. The luminescence performance of the material improved by 5.45 times by modulating the initial amount of Ga2O3. The white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) were made using the near-ultraviolet (NUV) light-emitting diode chips (395 nm), mixed with different ratios of yellow YAG:Ce3+ and red CaAlSiN3:Eu2+. The bright warm WLED has a high color rendering index, Ra = 96.3, a low correlated color temperature, CCT = 3525 K, and a CIE chromaticity coordinate of (0.40, 0.38). The results indicate that Ca3Zr2SiGa2+yO12 (y = 1.5): 0.04Ce3+ phosphors have great potential in the field of full-spectrum WLEDs.
