Fabrication of Ag2WO4/PANI composite with enhanced supercapacitor performance
摘要
The energy crisis is one of the most urgent issues in the fast-paced society we live in today. With a view to address the challenge, researchers are trying to find out novel materials for electrochemical energy storage device. Particularly, inorganic components incorporated into the conducting polymer-based composites have received much attention in recent decades. Herein, we report the synthesis of Ag2WO4/PANI composite via In-situ polymerization method. The as-synthesized material was subjected to different spectral as well as analytical characterization. Furthermore, the electrochemical performance evaluated from Cyclic Voltametric (CV) studies revealed the specific capacity (Cs) of 827 C g−1 at 5 mVs−1 and also the capacity retention upto 93% even after 5000 GCD cycles at a current density of 1 Ag−1. The study revealed the suitability of Ag2WO4/PANI as alternate electrode material for energy storage systems.
