摘要

The worldwide dramatic increase in energy consumption is depleting its natural resources and growing its demand day to day, which thus forth compelled us to develop various effective novel techniques for energy generation elongate its storage mechanisms to encounter obvious challenges facing the academicians/researchers of the era. In order to cope up such need of the era, using hydrothermal and in situ approaches, Lanthanum sulfide (La2S3), Polyaniline (PANI), and N-rGO (Nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide) composites are synthesized. The in-depth structural and electrochemical properties analyses have asserted that the considered materials are truly synthesized. The physiochemical characterizations comprising the structural through XRD, EDX, FESEM, FTIR, IV, BET (Brunauer–Emmett–Teller), and TGA are performed. Where, the CV has determined the pseudocapacitive nature of La2S3/PANI/N-rGO electrodes that have exhibited high specific capacitance (Csp) ~ 2627.17 F/g at 5 mV/s. These attain 94.87% capacitive retention over 8000 charging-discharging cycles, which is considered high enough compared to the formerly fabricated electrodes. The galvanostatic charge–discharge test has further established a narrative that La2S3/PANI/N-rGO electrodes possess a high Csp of 2311.2 F/g, high-energy density of 51.35 W/Kg, and power density of 616.27 Wh/Kg at 0.5 A/g. Inclusively, it is noticed that this way of synthesizing the considered materials has triggered its performance for electrode materials to be employed for supercapacitors.
