摘要

Nowadays, supercapacitors (SCs) are energy storage devices that have garnered significant consideration from researchers. However, developing supercapacitor materials utilizing a composite of transition metal oxides with high capacitive performance, structural integrity, and optimal energy proficiency while remaining cost-effective remains challenging. This work used an economically cheap and simple sol–gel method to fabricate the ZnMnO3/rGO nanohybrid composite. The structural and morphological parameters of rGO, ZnMnO3, and ZnMnO3/rGO were analyzed by FTIR, XRD, and SEM. However, the ZnMnO3/rGO exhibited the best specific capacitance (1286.879 F g−1) and energy density (85.84 Wh Kg−1) at power density (346.5 W kg−1) and showed outstanding stability after 3000th cycles. Moreover, higher electrochemical properties of the fabricated nanocomposite than individual materials are ascribed to larger surface area, smaller resistances, and faster migration of electrolyte ions. However, the fabricated nanocomposite material ZnMnO3/rGO can be employed as an electrode in storage devices, and it can also be employed in other electrochemical applications.
