摘要

In the current research findings, we report the crystal growth aspects of the semi organic crystal of 2-aminopyridine potassium hydrogen phthalate lithium nitrate (2AKPLN) by employing the slow evaporation solution growth technique (SEST) such that its structural and physical properties have been analyzed on the basis of the obtained outcome of material characterizations. The orthorhombic crystal system is embodied by the 2AKPLN crystal, according to the single crystal XRD investigation. The grown sample's high crystallinity is validated by the powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) pattern. The grown specimen of 2AKPLN has been subjected to FTIR analysis such that the existing various functional groups could be revealed. Based on the outcome of the UV–Vis-NIR analysis, it is evident that the 2AKPLN could be utilized for optical applications as the optical properties of the crystal were studied. DTA and TGA analyses have been used to perform the thermal analysis on the 2AKPLN sample. The SHG technique has been implemented to evaluate the SHG efficiency of the 2AKPLN crystal. The dielectric properties of 2AKPLN crystal have been investigated. The nature of the crystal’s hardness has been determined via the microhardness investigation. Analysis of photoconductivity as well as an etching study has been performed on the 2AKPLN crystal. The 2AKPLN single crystal's observed results suggest that it might be a valuable prospective for optical and optoelectronic applications.
