摘要

The effect of filer concentration on the dielectric and energy storage characteristics of a P(VDF-TrFE)-based 0–3 polymer composite were reported in the manuscript. The process of solvent casting followed by hot pressing was used to create composite films that included over 60% electroactive β-phase. The inorganic ceramic fillers improve the dielectric properties of the composite. The developed composite containing 60 wt% of 0.67BiFeO3–0.33BaTiO3 (BF-33BT) exhibited an increase in dielectric constant (25), negligible loss (0.025), and good AC conductivity. The strong interaction between the P(VDF-TrFE) matrix and BF-33BT particles at the interface may be the cause of this remarkable improvement in the dielectric characteristics. The room-temperature ferroelectric hysteresis loops indicate an increase in remnant polarisation of the matrix with the concentration of filler. The efficiency of the storage energy density of the composite samples shows more than 60%. Therefore, for energy harvesting and storage applications, this composite could be preferable.
