Control of size and morphology of microwrinkles on polydimethylsiloxane films via flame treatment with modified strain
摘要
The direct surface treatment using an open flame was investigated to control the size and morphology of microwrinkles on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) films. The experimental setup was roughly divided into two groups. One corresponds to the treatment with an isotropic strain, while the other corresponds to that with an anisotropic strain. It is found that the former treatment affected the size of microwrinkles, while the latter affected the morphology. Additionally, the treatment with an isotropic strain produced the huge wrinkles, which have not been reported yet. This is potentially used to fabricate the microwrinkles over a wide wavelength range in the same process, highlighting the merit of the flame treatment.
