摘要

Here, we first study how the structure–activity connection of rhombohedral phase BHxFO (x = 0, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05) nanoparticles is affected by low concentration Ho ion doping. To help to promote magnetic release in BHxFO, the results show that adding Ho causes internal structural distortion in a way that changes the length and angle of the Fe–O links and also makes the particles smaller. Adding magnetically active Ho3+ ions instead of Bi ions also improves the ferromagnetic coupling between Ho3+ and Fe3+ ions. This changes the behavior from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic. Furthermore, timely Ho doping is found to improve the photoelectric performance of BHxFO and efficiently lower its band gap. A broad plan for the doping modification and application promotion of BFO is presented in this paper.
