Synthesis of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cathode material with high energy density using di-butylamine as precipitant
摘要
The precursor synthesis of the LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 is usually adopted NaOH/NH3·H2O system. This method requires strict control of the pH value and feed rate. In this work, LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 was prepared by homogeneous precipitation method, and di-n-butylamine was used as the precipitant. The result shows that after calcination at 850 ℃ for 20 h, the initial discharge specific capacity of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cathode material is 210.66 mAh/g at a current density of 0.1 C. After 100 cycles, the specific discharge capacity is 192.29 mAh/g, and the capacity retention rate is 91.27%. This homogeneous precipitation method using di-n-butylamine as a precipitant allows the preparation of NCM-811 with excellent properties.
