<p>South-South migration is increasing in Latin America (L.A.), yet most research on parenting in migration contexts focuses on South-North movements. Over recent years, Chile has witnessed a rapid rise in immigration, particularly from L.A. countries. This study explores how immigrant mothers raising young children in Chile navigate parenting challenges and cultural adaptation. Using qualitative methods, we conducted interviews with 16 mothers from four L.A. countries. Findings highlight the pivotal role of Chilean institutions in shaping their parenting experiences. Participants identified cultural sensitivity, discrimination, and access to services as key factors influencing this process. Despite these challenges, mothers exhibited resilience, striving to instill an optimistic outlook in their children. They also reported cultural clashes in parenting values, beliefs, and societal norms, illustrating the complexities of cultural adaptation. By examining personal beliefs, institutional interactions, and structural influences, we provide a nuanced understanding of how migrant mothers integrate their cultural heritage with Chilean norms. It also provides valuable insights into areas that warrant improvement in the Chilean society to facilitate immigrant integration.</p>
