摘要

Due to the fact that fossil fuels are limited and the world’s energy demand is rising, economic catalysts with exceptional stability and efficiency must be produced right now. MoS2’s successfully increased catalytic activity by interfacial coupling and phase engineering. The 1T/2H-MoS2/Ni3S2 composite was effectively created in this study by adding Ni3S2 material on top of 1T/2H-MoS2 (Mo: S = 1:4). The effects of varying concentrations of Ni3S2 on hydrogen evaluation reaction characteristics are examined using the hydrothermal technique. The composite sample with an appropriate amount of Ni3S2 has the best hydrogen evolution performance when compared to samples with other amounts of Ni3S2. The sample’s overpotential at 1 M KOH is 124 mV at 10 mAcm−2, and its Tafel slope is 138.0 mVdec−1. In addition, the sample exhibits good air stability and hydrogen evolution stability. Also, to accelerate the kinetics of hydrogen evolution and encourage H2O dissociation in an alkaline environment, Ni3S2 efficiently stimulates MoS2’s inert base surface, creates a rich coupling boundary, and greatly enhances the performance of electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution.
