Competing in the Digital Economy: The Influence of Information Visibility on Corporate Entrepreneurship
摘要
With the development of new technologies in the digital age, the value of information has become clear. Organizations that can effectively access and use information are better able to spot opportunities and encourage innovation. This study explores how information visibility influences corporate entrepreneurship (CE), drawing on the entrepreneurial alertness (EA) model. Adopting a descriptive-correlational design and a quantitative methodology, data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 165 corporate employees and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that enhanced information visibility, particularly in terms of accessibility and approval, significantly boosts employees’ entrepreneurial alertness, which in turn fosters greater engagement in CE activities. These findings highlight the pivotal influence of digital platforms and transparent communication mechanisms in fostering entrepreneurial orientation and enabling strategic renewal across organizational contexts.
