On Linearized Theory of Hypoelastic Materials. Harmonic Plane Waves
摘要
The theory of hypoelasticity is discussed. One of the known nonlinear models of hypoelastic deformation is used. It includes the variant of the constitutive equations that corresponds to Truesdell’s concept. A linearized description of this model is developed which is similar to hyperelastic models. The new wave equations are obtained and analyzed. A plane wave is studied within the framework of the classical Christoffel approach. Effect of initial stresses and rotations is demonstrated using examples. For example, the effect of prestresses on the velocities of plane waves is small.
